It was a little otherworldly, but also pretty cool. The valves opening and closing looked like my heart was clapping for me every time it beats.
I take immense comfort in knowing that even if I’m about to do a dumb thing, my heart still cheers me on.
A long time ago way back in college, I heard this mix on Ministry of Sound’s Chillout Sessions and couldn’t for the life of me figure out what one of the track was called.
Fast forward a couple of years, one of my account directors who happened to be some old school underground jungle drum and bass dude, happened to have a copy of that mix (like I don’t even remember how we started talking about it) but it was like… an untitled mp3 file.
1.5 decades later I find out the mix is curated by a “DJ Sean” and the track I really wanted has no name and essentially has been lost to history.
The universe is just openly mocking me now.
And everything is falling apart.
